Wayne Twp. man killed in head-on crash

A Wayne Twp. man died Monday night in a crash on Ohio 73 near Jacksonburg Road in Wayne Twp.

James Rucker, 74, was the driver of a pickup truck that collided head-on with a tractor trailer at about 9 p.m. Rucker was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Butler County Sheriff’s Office.

The driver of the semi, Sean Moran, 26, of Indiana, was not injured. The crash remains under investigation by the sheriff’s office serious traffic accident reconstruction team.
