No one hurt in 2-car crash on U.S. 68, near Xenia

A motorist trying to turn into his driveway in the 2000 block of U.S. 68, just north of State Route 235, was hit by an oncoming vehicle.

Neither he nor the driver of the other vehicle was injured in the accident that occurred about 4 p.m. Both vehicles were heavily damaged.

The motorist who was headed to his driveway apparently turned into the path of the southbound sedan, said a trooper with the Ohio Highway Patrol.

Troopers shut down the southbound lanes to investigate the accident and to have the sedan towed from the roadway. The northbound lanes remained open.
