Man charged with rape on Moses Blvd.

A 19-year-old Dayton man is in Montgomery County Jail, waiting to face a judge on a felony rape charge.

Maurice C. Simon, Jr. was arrested at a home on Rydale Dr. in Dayton, after a woman reported the incident to police.

The police report has little information about the alleged attack, however it does indicate the incident occured in the 100 block of S. Edwin C. Moses Blvd. on Wednesday around midnight.

Simon will be in court Thursday afternoon to face the charge.
