3 charged in biker clubhouse fire in Franklin

UPDATE @ 3 p.m. (June 13)

Franklin police have charged three men in connection to the arson fire at the Regulator Rider’s Motorcycle Clubhouse, 11 E. Sixth St.

Joshua Kash, 30, was seen running from the scene by a responding officer .

Police said Kash jumped into the Great Miami River, but was captured on the other side by responding officers.

James Wilson, 28, and Tyler R. Webb, 26, have also been arrested.

All three are now charged with arson, fourth degree felonies, and are expected to be arraigned in Franklin Municipal Court on June 16.

FIRST REPORT (May 16)

A fire that heavily damaged a motorcycle clubhouse is under investigation in Franklin.

Crews were dispatched around 6 a.m. to the fire in the first block of East Sixth Street.

The older building is used as a clubhouse for the Regulator Riders motorcycle club, according to a Franklin fire official.

No one was inside at the time and no one was hurt, but flames and water caused an estimated $20,000 in damages, according to the fire official.

The fire appears to have started outside of the building and spread to the interior, but the investigation is ongoing.
