Dayton restaurant robbed at gunpoint

Police in Dayton are investigating a robbery at the Roosters restaurant, 3501 N. Main St.

Two males with their faces covered entered the store around 1 p.m. Saturday, according to the Dayton police report.

One pointed a black handgun at employee and demanded money while the other walked around and removed cash from the register, according to the report.

The pair ran out of the restaurant with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to the report.

Police said a witness saw the pair hanging out in front of a barber shop across the street before the robbery.
