A Logan County man has been arrested in Indiana following the theft of approximately $30,000 from Cedarville University, according to Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine.

Andrew Davis, 30, of West Liberty, was arrested Tuesday on charges of safe cracking, grand theft and breaking and entering.

Davis worked for a food service company used by Cedarville University. He's accused of breaking into a school administrative building on three separate occasions and stealing several thousands of dollars on each occasion.

He is accused of stealing approximately $30,000 during the most recent incident, which happened Saturday, according to DeWine's office.

A search warrant was executed at his home in West Liberty on Tuesday, and about $20,000 was located and seized from his vehicle.

Davis is in the Miami County Jail in Peru, Ind., awaiting extradition to Greene County.
