Gunman robs Kettering CashMax store

The CashMax store in the 2400 block of Wilmington Pike has been robbed by a man who brandished a handgun.

We’re told he fled south on Wilmington in a red minivan.

There are no reports that anyone has been hurt in the incident reported out about 5:23 p.m. There are several police cruisers on scene, we’re told.

The CashMax store handles payday loans, cash advances and other personal financial transactions.
