2 shot in Hamilton Twp. in Warren County

UPDATE (May 10)

A homeowner shot a man who broke into a home, also injuring a woman who lived there.

The double shooting was reported around 10:20 p.m. Saturday in the 10700 block of Murcock-Goshen Road in Hamilton Twp., Warren County.

The man, shot in the abdomen, had reportedly been trying to get inside anothe home. When he entered the second home, a man who lived there shot him. The gunfire also injured a woman resident, police told our media partner WCPO-TV in Cincinnati.

The man was taken to Bethesda North Hospital and the woman was taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Both are expected to recover.

No names have been released, and the incident remains under investigation

FIRST REPORT (May 9)

Two people suffered gunshot wounds tonight in southern Warren County.

Police and medics were called around 10:20 p.m. to the 10700 block of Murdock Goshen Road for a report of two gunshot victims, according to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.

The man and woman were both alert, and AirCare was initially on standby, deputies said.

No further information about how the pair were shot was immediately available.
