2 armed robbery suspects held after chase

Two Springfield men are in jail after they allegedly robbed people at gun point at a gas station.

John Long, 21, and Jamar Grisby, 21, pleaded not guilty to charges of stemming from the robberies, including aggravated robbery, complicity to aggravated robbery, tampering with evidence, fleeing a police officer and resisting arrest.

Police were called to the Marathon gas station on Selma Road Saturday. The robbers fled from the scene in a car, initiating a chase, according to court documents.

The chase ended in a crash and police arrested Long and Grisby, police said.

Both are being held in the Clark County Jail on $126,000 bond each.
