1 of 2 burglary suspects caught in Clark County

The Clark County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of one burglary suspect but investigators continue to look for the second.

Daniel L. Cupps was arrested today by the Clark County Sheriff’s Office and charged with burglary. He is being held in the Clark County Jail and is scheduled to appear Thursday in Clark County Municipal Court.

Paul Anthony Thomas, 28, was arrested five days earlier, but failed to appear in Clark County Municipal Court on the burglary charge.

A warrant for his arrest has been issued.

The pair are suspects in a June 18 break-in in the 7200 block of Plattsburg Road, where several medications and other items were taken.

Based on the home’s surveillance video, Detective Jim Hollopeter followed leads and was able to develop information that led to the arrests.
