Bond was set for a woman who was arrested in relation to a drug raid.

Amanda Greene, 33, is being held on a $20,000 bond. Her bond was set in Sidney Municipal Court. She was arrested during the warrant-led search of 331 N. West Ave. at about 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sidney police Capt. J.A. Tangeman said in a prepared statement.

Police and troopers with the Ohio Highway Patrol recovered evidence of drug abuse and drug trafficking, Tangeman said.

Greene is being detained in the Shelby County Jail on single counts of felony drug possession and possession of criminal tools.

The investigation began late Wednesday afternoon after a tip from a private citizen to police that Greene would be transporting illegal narcotics from the Dayton area to Sidney.

Troopers stopped Greene's vehicle on Interstate 75 in Shelby County, according to the statement.

Citizens who have any information about drug activity are asked to contact Sidney police at 937-498-8777 or Crime Stoppers at 937-492-8477.
