Loads of garbage and debris are now exposed around Caesar Creek Lake, where the water level has been drained to accommodate work on a multi-million dollar marina.
Some park-goers have been alarmed to see the amount of detritus lining the now-exposed muddy bottom of the lake.

Others are taking advantage of the exposed ground to search for valuables with a metal detector.
A contractor started excavation work this year to build the marina on the side of the beach.
