$4K worth of property stolen from Xtreme Autosports in Dayton

Police are searching for whoever broke into Xtreme Autosports on North Main Street and stole approximately $4,400 worth of property from the business, according to a police report.

Officers responded to the business, 864 North Main Street, around 11 a.m. Sunday after someone at the store realized it had been broken into overnight.

According to the report, a man approximately 20-25 years old, with medium length dreadlocks and wearing a black sweatshirt with Ohio in red lettering entered the store around 2 a.m. and was inside the location for about an hour.

The suspect also was said to have a black and white Chicago Bulls hat, the report read.

The man made his way through the store moving items around and opening file drawers, police said.

Ultimately, the suspect took four DVD players, two CD players and two speakers.  He used an office chair to move the items out the front door, the report said.
