Woman shot during argument at Springfield apartment

SPRINGFIELD — A woman shot another woman in the thigh on Vester Avenue this afternoon.

Officers responded to the 1300 block of Vester around 1:10 p.m. for an argument between two women, according to police.

The victim was taken to Springfield Regional Medical Center to be flown to Miami Valley Hospital for treatment of her injuries.

The woman who was wounded is expected to recover from her injuries.

The suspected shooter was taken into custody.
