Wittenberg to name next university president Friday

Wittenberg University leaders will announce their next president Friday.

The announcement is scheduled to take place on campus at 11 a.m.

The incoming president will be the 15th in school’s history. The search for that next president has lasted more than a year.

He or she will replace Laurie Joyner, who resigned abruptly from the post after announcing several million dollars in budget cuts.
