DETAILED FORECAST

Overnight: Steadier widespread precipitation is now entering the Miami Valley meaning the critical time to watch road conditions has arrived. Initially tracking rain and freezing rain, but expect some snowfall to mix in as we continue over the next several hours. This will be a changing forecast and keep in mind that ground temperatures are below freezing, so all precipitation types will likely freeze on contact leading to icy conditions for the morning drive.

>> Closings and delays

Monday: Ice accumulation will be the big concern early. For those who have to be out on the roads, use extra caution and give yourself plenty time and space between you and the vehicle in front of you. Rain and snow are likely in the morning, but more dry time is expected in the afternoon. Eventual highs will be in the upper 30s.
