Severe weather threat diminishes overnight

Showers and a few storms are likely overnight, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell said. Temperatures will drop into the middle 50s by morning.

Friday: Clouds will remain across the area with on and off showers, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell said. It will be cooler with highs in the upper 50s.

Sunday: Expect a mix of sun and clouds and a bit warmer conditions. Highs will be near 60 degrees.

Monday: Showers will return to the area with highs in the middle 60s.

Tuesday: Partly sunny skies and mild conditions are expected with highs in the lower 60s.
