1 suffers non-life threatening injuries after 4-vehicle accident on I-75 North in Tipp City

UPDATE @ 3:16 a.m: One person was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries after a 4-vehicle crash on I-75 North in Tipp City.

We originally reported that the incident involved only three vehicles, but Ohio State Highway Patrol Piqua Post confirmed four vehicles were involved.

According to officials, one vehicle rear-ended another, causing that vehicle to crash into two others.

The injured individual was transported to Upper Valley Medical Center.

UPDATE @ 12:07 a.m. (Nov. 24): At least one person has been taken to a hospital from the accident and all lanes on I-75 North in Tipp City have reopened, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol Piqua Post.

INITIAL REPORT (Nov. 23)

A three-vehicle accident on I-75 North in Tipp City has caused the shutdown of all three lanes, but traffic is getting through the scene on the right shoulder.

OTHER LOCAL NEWS: Police officer injured responding to assault

The accident was dispatched just after 10 p.m. for a vehicle into the barrier wall and another vehicle reported to be on fire.

There has been no word on injuries.
