Two Ohio National Guard soldiers flagged by FBI, removed from the inauguration support

Two Ohio National Guard soldiers were flagged by the FBI, according to a statement from the Ohio National Guard.

The 25,000 National Guard members supporting the presidential inauguration have been subject to vetting by the FBI.

In the statement, the Ohio National Guard said they were notified Tuesday of the two soldiers and were told out of an abundance of caution, the FBI removed the soldiers from the inaugural support mission.

The Ohio National Guard was told that their removal was not due to criminal or threatening actions or activities.
