Two Greenville teens injured in Darke Co. crash

Two Greenville teens were injured in a rollover crash on Wildcat Road in Darke County Sunday.

Deputies and medics were dispatched to the 2400 block of Wildcat Road around 5:50 p.m. Sunday on a reported rollover crash, the Darke County Sheriff’s Office said in a media release.

A preliminary investigation found a 2005 Chrysler minivan, driven by a 16-year-old from Greenville, was traveling east on Wildcat Road, when she traveled off the right side of the road, hit a utility pole, and overturned.

The passenger, a 14-year-old, was injured and taken by CareFlight to Dayton Children’s Hospital, but his condition was not available.

The driver was treated and released at the scene.

Possible factors in the crash were not released and the incident remains under investigation by the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.
