Truck smashes into Washington Twp. car wash; medical condition might be cause

A medical condition or emergency may be the reason a pickup truck smashed into the Four Seasons Car Wash in Washington Twp., fire officials and Montgomery County sheriff's deputies report.

The accident was reported just after 6 p.m. that a fire broke out in a vehicle that struck a building in the 8300 block of Yankee Street.

The male driver has been taken to a hospital, we're told, but his condition is not known. There were no other injuries reported in the accident.

The accident did not prompt responders to shut down Yankee Street.
