Up to 5 inches of rain fell overnight in Bracken and Mason counties, where flood waters lifted homes from foundations, set moored boats adrift and tossed vehicles into muddy ditches, according to coverage from our news partner in Cincinnati, WCPO-Ch. 9.

Authorities in Bracken County are searching for one man whose home may have drifted away in the flood waters, according to WCPO’s report. About 20 boats tethered on Bracken Creek broke loose and were sent downstream into the Ohio River, according to WCPO’s report.
