Preble Shawnee High School evacuated after small fire in a classroom

PREBLE COUNTY — Preble Shawnee High School was evacuated Friday morning for was described as a “small fire”, per initial reports.

Crews were dispatched to the school located at 5495 Somers Gratis Road around 7:30 a.m.

Dispatch did confirm there was a fire in one of the classrooms, but it is now out.

No word on the fire’s start or if any injuries were reported as a result of it.
