Miami East High School placed on lockdown

Miami East High School was placed on lockdown this morning for two unused bullets that were found in the hallway.

The lockdown began at 7:45 a.m. and lasted two hours according to district superintendent Dr. Todd Rappold. The student responsible has been identified and school personal are currently deciding disciplinary action.

No firearms were found on the school grounds and classes have resumed their normal schedule.
