1 injured when Dayton police cruiser smashes into tree

A Dayton police cruiser has been severely damaged after ramming a tree in the area of Salem Avenue and Princeton Drive.

One person has been taken to a hospital from the accident, which occurred Wednesday afternoon, according to Montgomery County Regional Dispatch.

A second car was involved in the accident. We’re checking to see which vehicle the injured party was in.
