According to the sheriff’s office, it was determined after interviewing agents with Immigration Customs Enforcement that the suspects “are citizens of Mexico and are in the country illegally,” a prepared statement said.

The four suspects were reported to have been working for Fresh Way in Sidney, the sheriff’s office said.

Two of the suspects, Flores and Eglain Lopez-Camey, are booked into local jails on federal detainers, according to jail records.
