The winner of the $580,000 jackpot in the Queen of Hearts game is Jason Broering of St. Henry in Mercer County. His winnings represent 80 percent of the total jackpot of more than $700,000, with 20 percent going to charity.

We have a winner! Third time’s a charm after the third person is the one who drew the Queen of Hearts to take home the more than $550,000 jackpot. News Center 7’s James Buechele is at The Whistle Stop waiting to talk to the man who pulled the winning card.

A crowd of several hundred tonight is awaiting the final drawing for the Queen of Hearts game at The Whistle Stop.
The jackpot is $525,054, and someone is guaranteed to win after the game has gone on for an unheard of amount of time at around 40 weeks.
There are eight cards left, and organizers will keep drawing tickets until someone finally pulls the Queen of Hearts.
Queen of Hearts is a legal game of chance in which the person holding a ticket pulled during a raffle has a chance to pick the Queen of Hearts from the remaining cards in the deck posted on a board at the business, 200 S. Main St.
