Greenon Local Schools are letting students out early due to excessive heat in school buildings today.
The school said in a Facebook post that kids are getting let out two hours earlier than normal.
“The continued excessive heat over the weekend kept the schools warmer than normal,” Superintendent Brad Silvus said. “Since we have not had a break in the temperatures over the weekend, we felt it was important to release early today. We are hopeful that by mid-week, the weather will break and temperatures will return to normal levels.”
