Franklin man arrested in Dollar General robbery

FRANKLIN — A Franklin man is in jail awaiting trial after robbing a Dollar General Tuesday night, according to a Franklin police department release.

Police were dispatched around 9:49 p.m. to the store at 30 East Sixth Street after a clerk reported the business had been robbed.

Danny Ray Horne, 36, of Franklin, was arrested when police found him fleeing the business on a bicycle with an undetermined amount of cash, according to a release from the Franklin Police Department.

Horne is charged with Aggravated Robbery, Tampering with Evidence and a felony count of Possession of Heroin.

Horne is being held in the Warren County Jail on a $120,000 bond, with a pending court date of September 30 at 1 p.m.
