DETAILED FORECAST:

TODAY: Partly cloudy skies will remain in place through the rest of the day, Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Dontae Jones said.

High temperatures will be comfortable today, topping out in the upper 70s this afternoon.

Comfortable temperatures continue, along with mostly clear skies with lows falling to around 60 degrees.

FRIDAY: A dry start to the day, however showers and storms are expected by the evening.

Sunny skies, breezy, and warm through the first half of the day with highs reaching the upper 70s.

A line of showers and storms will develop in the afternoon and evening. There is an isolated chance for a strong or severe storm with strong winds being the main threat. Storms will come to an end in the overnight hours.

SATURDAY: A cooler start to the weekend. Highs in the middle 50s with some sun and clouds but plenty of dry time.

SUNDAY: Another cool day. Highs in the upper 50s. Some passing rain showers develop mainly in the evening and at night.

MONDAY: Scattered showers are expected to start out the workweek. Highs in the middle 60s.
