Family Dollar employee robbed at gunpoint of store deposit in Harrison Twp.

HARRISON TWP. — UPDATE @ 10:20 a.m.

Deputies continue to review security camera footage as they investigate a reported armed robbery at a Harrison Twp. Family Dollar.

Deputies at the scene told our crew they have no leads in the investigation at this point as they continue questioning the victim.

Police are looking for a suspect accused of robbing a Family Dollar employee at gunpoint in Harrison Twp., according to regional dispatchers.

Crews were called to the Family Dollar at 5800 North Main Street after an employee reported being robbed of a store deposit while leaving for the bank.

Dispatchers said the employee was outside of the store with the deposit when a man wielding a gun demanded the money.

It is unknown how much cash the reported thief took or which direction he headed, according to dispatchers.
