The family said they found soot and what appears to have been damage from a lightning strike.

Family members told News Center 7 they’ve been home from their trip for about a week and never noticed the damage until Tuesday morning, but did say two of their televisions were not working when they returned home.

It’s not known what storm system may have caused the damage.
