“Already saturated and a very moist environment means any storms will be able to produce flooding rainfall again,” Vrydaghs said.
TODAY: More storms will develop into the afternoon. An isolated severe threat also exists today though flooding will likely be the main issue. Temperatures stay mild and muggy with lows in the lower 70s.
WEDNESDAY: It will be the hottest day of the week with highs around 90 degrees and heat index vales in the middle 90s.
“Take steps to protect yourself from the heat if you work outside or are planning on spending time outdoors,” Vrydaghs said. “Drink plenty of water and take frequent breaks.”
Sunshine and scattered clouds mix for the day. Some storms possible late at night in the north again.
