Police believe a driver confused pedals causing her to crash into a Dayton apartment building.

Police and medics were dispatched near the intersection of McCabe Avenue and Blanche Street around 3:15 a.m. on reports of a vehicle slamming into an apartment building.

Officers were first told that bad brakes were the cause of the crash, but rather believe the confusion of pedals was the actual cause.

The building suffered minor structural damage and no occupants reported injuries.

The driver suffered minor injuries but was not taken to an area hospital.

No other details were available.
