Company’s suit claims mobile home park failed to pay for water repairs

A maintenance company is suing a Miami Twp. mobile park, claiming it was not paid for work on a water system that repeatedly failed, resulting in EPA citations, state legal action and the property's court-ordered receivership.

Pineview Estates failed to reimburse Ford Development Corp. for $24,500 in water line repairs it made this past spring, according to documents filed in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court.

The work, according to the suit, was completed in late March. That was about a month before water system failures at the Farmersville-West Carrollton Road site prompted a judge to give the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency oversight of Pineview's system following a lawsuit by the Ohio Attorney General's Office.
