Cedar Point set to announce new attraction next month

Cedar Point has announced its plans to unveil the latest attraction that will fill the Sandusky amusement park.

Officials said they will announce the new attraction, set to debut during the 2018 season, during a special event at noon on Aug. 16 in the FrontierTown section of the park, according to a news release.

Last season, the park closed wooden roller coaster “Mean Streak” and WHIO reported last month about the possibility of a new wooden/steel hybrid roller coaster coming to the amusement park.
