Barn fire reported in western Montgomery County

JACKSON TWP., Montgomery County — Firefighters have responded to reports of a barn fire on Chicken Bristle Road in Jackson Twp., in western Montgomery County Tuesday afternoon.

Crews were dispatched to the 11,000 block of Chicken Bristle Road, near South Clayton Road, around 2:40 p.m.

Initial reports indicate heavy smoke was seen in the area by firefighters responding to the scene.
