DAYTON — UPDATE @ 10:35 a.m.:
Dayton police said an armed man was able to make off with an undetermined amount of cash after robbing the Dollar Tree location on North Gettysburg Avenue Tuesday.

Police only described the suspect as a male wearing dark clothing. Initial reports indicated the suspect fled in a vehicle, but officers on scene did not add any details.

EARLIER REPORT:
Police are investigating a reported armed robbery at a Dayton dollar store Tuesday morning.
Officers responded to the Dollar Tree location at 2198 North Gettysburg Avenue around 10 a.m. after the robbery was reported.
Initial reports indicate a suspect displayed a gun and made off with cash from the business.
The suspect was able to get away in a car that was last seen on Kings Highway, according to police scanner traffic.
