Power restored to customers in Oakwood area after reported outage

MONTGOMERY COUNTY — UPDATE @ 8:25 a.m:  Power has been restored to customers in the Oakwood area after a reported 2,000 people experienced an outage around 7 a.m.

UPDATE @ 7:49 a.m.:

Approximately 1,000 DP&L customers remain without power in the Oakwood area this morning.

UPDATE @ 7:04 a.m.:

Approximately 2,000 Dayton Power & Light customers are without power in the Oakwood area and multiple traffic signals are not operating due to the outage.

The outage was reported along Far Hills Avenue in Oakwood around 6:45 a.m. and DP&L is estimating power will be restored by 8 a.m.

UPDATE @ 2:25 a.m: Power has been restored to nearly all customers in Montgomery County after over 3,000 people were without power early Wednesday morning.

UPDATE @ 2:20 a.m: Over 1,400 customers are still without power in Montgomery County, per the DP&L outage map.

Crews are working to restore power to residents, which is believed to be a result of the inclement weather.

Over 3,000 customers are without power in Montgomery County, according to the DP&L outage site.

DP&L has been preparing for a possible outage due to the inclement weather and this instance is believed to be weather related.

Crews are out working to fix the issue.
