Gas prices stable in Miami Valley

Gas prices have remained steady in Southwest Ohio and the Miami Valley.

Average retail gas prices in Dayton have not moved in the past week, averaging $2.28 per gallon on Sunday, according to GasBuddy’s daily survey of 391 gas outlets in Dayton.

This compares with the national average that has increased 3.7 cents per gallon in the last week to $2.16 a gallon, according to GasBuddy.com.

According to GasBuddy.com, the average price for a gallon of gas in Dayton is $2.17, with prices stable. The cheapest gas, as of this morning, is $2.19 at OM Oil at Needmore Road near Wagner Ford.

In Hamilton, the average price for a gallon of gas is $2.29, with prices stable. The cheapest gas is $1.99 at multiple locations.

In Springfield, the average price for a gallon of gas is $2.28, with prices stable. The cheapest gas is $2.06 at Marathon at E. Main Street and S. Belmont Avenue.
