Forecast shows humidity, storms making comeback

DETAILED FORECAST

Scattered clouds will remain during the overnight hours as temperatures will be pleasantly mild, in the lower 60s by morning, according to Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell.

Wednesday: The day will start dry and mild with increasing clouds through the afternoon. A few thunderstorms will become possible late in the day and into the evening. The humidity will also be on the rise with highs in the lower 80s.

Thursday: Skies will be partly to mostly cloudy with occasional showers and storms as a cold front moves into the area. A few storms could be strong and there is a marginal risk for severe storms. The main threat would be from damaging winds. Storms will weaken toward dark. Highs will be in the upper 80s.

Friday: Partly sunny skies and slightly cooler temperatures are expected. Highs will drop back into the middle 80s with a bit less humidity.

Saturday: Mostly sunny skies and seasonably warm temperatures are expected with highs in the middle 80s.

Sunday: Scattered clouds will return to end the weekend with a chance for a few pop-up showers or storms. It will be warmer and muggier with highs back in the upper 80s.
