Gunman takes phone, cash in Fairborn home invasion

UPDATE @ 8:45 a.m.

Police in Fairborn are looking for information about a reported home invasion that happened Memorial Day in the first block of North Elm Street.

Police were initially dispatched on the report of a robbery at approximately 1:22 p.m., but officers determined it was an aggravated burglary.

The victim told police an unknown male entered her front door, displayed a handgun and proceeded to take a cell phone and cash before running away, according to the Fairborn police report.

The male was described as having a medium build wearing an orange shirt, blue jeans and a toboggan, according to the report.

Fairborn police are investigating a robbery on North Elm Avenue.

Around 2 p.m. Monday, a male displayed a gun and took cash and a cell phone, according to emergency scanner traffic.
