SPRINGBORO — NASA awarded a $14,000 grant to Springboro Schools as part of their Educator Professional Development Program.

According to a release Thursday, the school district’s written proposal to the NASA program was approved. The NASA Glenn Research Grant will give Springboro Schools’ teachers the ability to develop and deliver 21st century process skill learning for their students. Teachers will have access to NASA resources and personnel.

The new resources from the grant will incorporate the Engineering Design Process, STEM lessons, and project-based learning activities that use Ohio’s Math and Science Learning Standards.
