Two juveniles may have caused up to $500 in damages to a Dayton church.
Police were called to St. Anthony Catholic Church, 830 Bowen Street, around 11:30 a.m. June 27. Sometime between midnight and 1:30 a.m. that morning, someone threw a can of beef stew at a stained glass window.
The impact damaged a protective cover over a stained glass window.
A neighbor told police they heard a crash and saw two juveniles running away at the time it happened.
A can of beef stew was found in a bush under the window, it appears that was the instrument used to cause the damage.
