Unknown burglar reported in UD students’ bedrooms

DAYTON — Two female roommates at the University of Dayton reported that an unknown male intruder was in their bedrooms overnight.

It happened shortly after 3 a.m. at a student residence on Stonemill Road, according to UD’s safety advisory.

The first female resident told police the unknown male entered her bedroom and touched her leg while she was sleeping, according to the advisory.

The male left the room quickly when she awoke. Her roommate told police the same male entered her room but he fled when she confronted him, according to the safety advisory.

Police responded and searched the area but did not find a suspect.

The intruder was described as a male with short hair, medium build/height.
