Surveillance video shows 5 people bust into MetroPCS in Troy

UPDATE @ 2:50 p.m. (Sept. 19):

Police released the surveillance video today from inside the Troy MetroPCS store, which shows five people busting into the business.

Five suspects around 2:45 a.m. Monday broke into MetroPCS, 722 W. Market St., in Troy. Just before 4 a.m., the Huber Heights MetroPCS store, 5575 Old Troy Pike, was broken into, but police from both jurisdictions so far have not said whether the two burglaries are connected.

UPDATE @ 4:36 p.m.:

A surveillance image of one of the five people who broke into the Troy MetroPCS location on West Market Street was released by the store’s manager this afternoon.

The male suspect is seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a Nike logo on the chest and orange shorts.

INITIAL REPORT

Two area MetroPCS stores were broken into overnight.

The Troy store in the 700 block of West Market Street was broken into around 2:43 a.m. and the store in Huber Heights in the 5500 block of Old Troy Pike was broken into just before 4 a.m.
