2 juveniles suspected in Beavercreek gun shop break-in

Beavercreek police said Monday that two juveniles are suspected to have broken into the gun store. Both fled the scene in separate vehicles — an SUV and a sedan, officers said.

No other information was immediately available.

First report:

Beavercreek police said multiple guns were stolen during a break-in at the Dayton Armory early Sunday morning.

Officers were dispatched to the gun shop in the Beaver Valley Shopping Center at 3319 Seajay Drive around 1:25 a.m. on an alarm that was triggered.

Police said officers were on scene within 30 seconds of receiving the alarm, but found no suspects on scene.

Officers said the burglar used a rock to break the front door and make entry into the business.

Several guns were stolen, but the exact number and types of weapons were not immediately known.

Investigators said an exact suspect description was not immediately available, and surveillance video is being analyzed.
