Gina’s Party Store II burglars steal cigarettes, tequila

A passerby reported the front door and window were smashed and merchandise on the floor at Gina’s Party Store II.

Police were called around 9 a.m. Saturday to the store, 2229 Germantown St. in Dayton. They found the main security door had been pried open with a pry bar, according to a Dayton police report.

Inside, the cash register drawer was on the floor with loose change scattered nearby and main customer displays were overturned and damaged. The owner said in addition to cash from the register, there were about 20 cartons of cigarettes, multiple bottles of Patron tequila and individually wrapped cigars stolen, the report stated.

No arrests have been made and the incident is under investigation.
