Former Huber Heights art teacher indicted on drug charges

MONTGOMERY Co. — Former Huber Heights City School District art teacher, Kelly Stone, has been indicted by a Montgomery County Grand Jury on two felony drug charges:

  • Permitting drug abuse
  • Possession of drugs

Stone, also known as Kelly McGill, was arrested in August at a home on Rose Bower Avenue in Kettering during a police drug raid. The raid was the result of drug complaints from neighbors in the area.

Also indicted in this case was Donte L. Shackelford Sr.:

  • Having weapons under disability (two counts)
  • Trafficking in drugs
  • Trafficking in marjuana
  • Possession of drugs

Both Stone and Shackelford will arraigned in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court Oct. 13. He has since bonded out of jail.

Kelly Stone’s arraignment is same day, Oct. 13. She is not in custody and a warrant has been issued on the indictment.
