Fairborn man arrested in meth lab bust

FAIRBORN — A 46-year-old Fairborn man is jailed on drug charges after a meth lab was found in a shed.

William Estep was arrested around 2:20 p.m. today at his home in the 500 block of Florence Avenue when chemicals used to manufacture methamphetamine were found inside a shed, according to Fairborn police.

The discovery was made when Greene County Adult Probation, with the assistance of Fairborn police, were making a home visit. The Greene County Agencies for Combined Enforcement task force neutralized the chemicals at the scene, police said.

Estep was arrested for illegal manufacture of drugs, illegal assembly of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs and possession of drugs, all felonies, according to Fairborn police. He is in the Greene County Jail, where he is being held without bond.
